On the night of April 1, 2006, a 27-year-old medical student walked into a bar near the Ohio State University campus. A surveillance camera caught him stepping off the escalator at 1:15 a.m. Forty minutes later, the same camera caught him outside, talking with two women he had just met. He turned, walked back toward the entrance, and stepped off frame. No camera has captured him since.
